Strong enough to hang from.  We would have preferred that he had measured the drop down before hand so that the trim would have fit.  We don't plan to hang from it.

The Bones of the Bathroom

New Tile Selection

We have changed the tile selection...Same colour and still Travertine, but instead of filled and honed, we have chosen the tumbled

We will still use the 3x6 in the alcove from the tub to the ceiling on all three walls.
The pencil moulding will frame the window.
The chair rail moulding will be at the top of the tub skirt, just over the edge of the tub surround.

We will use 16x24 off set in a brick pattern on both the floor and the shower.
The tic-tac tile will be the shower floor.
The polished marble will be the counter top

Day Three of Renovations

Everything came out of the bathroom today and they removed the bathroom floor and the shower pad. 

The last pic is the air scrubber that is pulling everything from the room and sending it outside.

Insulation and vapour barrier at last! 

After a winter with none this was a welcome first day of renovations. 

Hopefully that will also solve the crazy amount of dust that we have in the house!

Diesel's Hard Hat

I keep a mask outside of the bedroom/bathroom to wear before I go in. 

Diesel brought it to me so that he could try it on!
